A magnificent, exceptional, fine and impressive, pair of large antique Georgian English sterling silver architectural column candlesticks; part of our ornamental silverware collection. These magnificent antique Georgian English sterling silver candlesticks have a plain subtly tapering columnar form. The large and impressive Corinthian capital of each candlestick retains the original hallmarked detachable push fit sconce ornamented with a plain moulded rim. The cylindrical columns are supported by a cuboid plinth to an impressive plain square stepped three tier base. Each plinth is embellished with a fine and impressive bright cut engraved coat of arms depicting the Head family coat of arms encircled with a belt accented with the family motto 'Study Quiet'. The bases retain the original contemporary engraved inscription 'A token of respect from Francis Head to her aunt Dame Mary Ann Head. 1803' to the lowest tier. Both candlesticks are fitted with turned mahogany bases to the underside. These magnificent Georgian candlesticks were crafted by George Eadon, George Kibbles & John Weaver of George Eadon & Co. An exceptional, fine and impressive pair of antique Victorian English sterling silver two-light candelabra; an addition to our Victorian silverware collection. These exceptional antique Victorian sterling silver candelabra have a classical square-shaped form, replicating the details of a classic English George I style. Each impressive two light candelabrum retains the original hallmarked detachable push fit scrolling arms embellished with reed decoration. The branches (labra) support two rounded waisted capitals with plain circular dished drip pans, ornamented with applied gadroon decorated borders. The capitals are fitted with the original hallmarked push fit circular sconces, embellished with further gadroon decorated borders to the rims. Each Victorian silver candelabrum bears a central fluted decorated boss, ornamented reflecting the same dish pan design as the capitals. These versatile Victorian candelabra can be used as candlesticks once the arms are detached. The square-shaped stepped foot incorporates a plain sunken well encircled with gadroon decoration to a plain collet style rim. A magnificent, fine and impressive, rare pair of antique Danish sterling silver two light Pomegranate pattern candelabra made by Georg Jensen; an addition to our ornamental silverware collection These magnificent and rare antique Danish cast sterling silver candelabra have a circular bulbous form, in the Pomegranate pattern. The surface of each exceptional example of antique silverware has a subtly planished finish. Each impressive two light candelabrum retains the original hallmarked scrolling arms, supporting two rounded organic-shaped baluster capitals with plain circular dished drip pans. The scrolling arms of each candelabra incorporate magnificent scrolling leaf and bead decoration, all in the Arts and Crafts style. The plain bulbous columns surmount a plain circular foot, accented with a petal decorated border to the junction. The bases of these magnificent cast candelabra are not weighted.
