The realistic painted "17th century style' bouquets by Joran van der Haar, are always an eye-catcher in our gallery.
The colorful bouquets look natural but have a long history of months of meticulous and layered work. It is sometimes difficult to predict when Joran's work can withstand its own "test of criticism". In addition, the layered work with oil paint sometimes also ensures long drying times. Shortening this is undesirable.
In 2014 the artist started experimenting and painting with oil paint, flowers and insects soon turned out to be his preference. Again, this was a source of inspiration.
