Justyna Smoleń was born in 1988 in Nowy Sacz, and she studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow, where she graduated in 2013 with an award under the direction and in the workshops of professor Leszek Misiak and professor Piotr Korzeniowski. She is engaged in painting, drawing, installation and photography and lives and works in Krakow.
