The upper portion of this antique cream jug is embellished with an impressive applied strapwork band, in addition to a large fluted design to the underside of the lip, all in the Empire style. This exceptional example of antique silverware is fitted with an impressive cast spiralling handle accented with an impressive figural mask design. The circular spreading foot is embellished with further Empire style, architectural decoration.
