A strikingly attractive and rare pair of Mid-Century satellite cocktail chairs in lovely vintage condition. Made by the Lusty family company in London in the 1950s, this charmingly stylish and very comfortable pair of Lloyd Loom chairs exudes Mid-Century-chic and will add smart two-tone colouring and a timelessly tasteful aesthetic to any interior. Designed by Geoffrey Lusty, these M300 cocktail chairs are a wonderful and very-1950s mix of traditional craftsmanship with Bauhaus-inspired post-war Industrial-Minimalism. They feature a large and broad wicker seat over a sleek tubular frame, the seats being expertly hand-woven into a lovely curved and angled, elliptical back shape, which wraps around the sitter to create natural arms and an extremely comfortable seat. The seats are painted in neutral off-white, enhancing the super juxtaposition between the wicker seats and the sleek, tapering black-painted tubular steel legs.
