Lou Fink The Patriot Oil on canvas, 1970 (mixed media with iron lock) Provenance: Collection of The Southampton Hospital Association, Southampton, New York. This abstract expressionist painting entitled "the Patriot" is done in patriotic shades of red, white and blue in a color field pattern reminiscent of Mark Rothko. It has an assemblage, collage, lock installed at its center, with great color and texture. This piece has a sculpture quality to it. Louis R. Fink (1925 - 1980) American modernist artist.
