Mark Bradley Schwartz is a contemporary American realist painter who specializes in figurative works and still lifes. Originally from Illinois, he transitioned from a successful career in graphic design and art direction to fine art, seeking greater personal fulfillment through creative expression. Schwartz received his formal training at the California Art Institute under illustrator Glen Orbik, whose teachings on shape, value, and edge significantly influenced his artistic development. His technical approach balances accurate drawing with expressive brushwork, drawing inspiration from masters like John Singer Sargent, Anders Zorn, and Nicolai Fechin.
