About an Artist: Irena Orlov is a Los Angeles-based contemporary multidisciplinary visual artist whose work uses a combination of both traditional and new media. In a blending of traditional and new media, Irena Orlov developed special techniques which continue to give her art a unique look and aesthetic. While the majority of her works are done with mixed media, she also creates with acrylic, oil, pastel, watercolors and pencil. Much of her art has been implemented in renowned hotels, wellness and corporate settings across the world. In this original acrylic paint on canvas, Jose Palacios depicts a figure in a neo-cubist and pop art style in the shower. Using vibrant blues, pinks, purples, greens and yellows she is standing in the bath tub as the stream of water from the shower sprays over her. The style is reminiscent of Roy Lichtenstein and Picasso. Palacios' work is characterized by it's geometry, precision of his figures and the use of a refreshing and bold palette. Jose Palacios was born in Spain in 1970. A self taught artist, he began his career in the world of comic books and illustration publications. He later transitioned to graphic design and street art. Jose was greatly influenced by the "Movida Madrileña" an explosive cultural period in the 1980's during Spain's transition from dictatorship to democracy which produced arist's such as Ceesepe, Fernando Vicente, Ana Juan, Ouka Leele and Javier de Juan.

It is here when the artist decides to give a hold to his new collection for 2018 named "holy exit" and dive into this new world of colors and wonders. ​ The second part, Alice in Wonderland, represents the artist a world of fantasy and dreams. It seems as if the author Lewis Caroll could write like a dream. The same concept of surrealism is what FAUVES feels about Gucci design and branding. His artistic journey started at a very young age after he became a student of Joaquin Rodriguez del Paso , one of the most important Costa Rican modern art tutors. John Paul spent 15 years studying and mastering his technique, and only a few years ago he finally started showcasing his work.
