Myron Stephens is a master of observation and a phenomenal contemporary American artist. He was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area. He received his BA degree in fine arts from California State University, Chico, in 1992. Stephens’s work is best understood as stories that open up conversations between the artist and his audience. Stephens has exhibited widely with success and is also a recipient of several awards. He currently lives, paints, and teaches art in Sacramento, California.

The artist uses small brushes with oil and acrylic paint to create the witty, charming and unique works of art via his optical illusion way of painting. As with Stephen's other series' including urban scenes and "chalk board" paintings that draw from mid century ideas and film—Stephen's signature humor and unique perspective span the lot.
