Large 5+-Foot Landscape Oil Painting on Canvas by Gary Kremen, Framed
By Gary Kremen
Located in Encino, CA
Untitled Landscape, an original oil on canvas by Gary Kremen, is a piece for the true collector. Kremen's fine attention to detail is evident here, depicting a desert landscape set beneath vast mountains, complete with cactus and wildlife in the middle ground. The sky with its range of light to deep blues fills the top of the painting. This example showcases Kremen's keen ability to capture emotion, nature, and life - all in a brushstroke. Both his technical talent and choice of subject matter pair perfectly with the frameless style of hanging. Blue Clouds Marsh, Oil Painting
By Nancy Hughes Miller
Located in San Francisco, CA

Artist Comments
Coastal wetlands are a haven for wildlife, and to artist Nancy Hughes Miller, a place of endless inspiration. This painting features a moody sky with clouds in shades of blue floating over vibrant marsh grasses. "Blue and green are the colors of the marsh landscape, and my favorite combination to paint," says Nancy. "I create marsh scenes from my memory, observation and imagination, taking me - and I hope those who see my paintings - to a tranquil place."

About the Artist
Reflected in Nancy Hughes Miller’s paintings are the coastal and rural environments of southeastern North Carolina, her birthplace, where she still spends much of her time. As a child, Nancy’s primary education did not include art classes, so she was delighted when one day her oldest brother returned home from college with newsprint and charcoal. She went on to pursue a career path in graphic design and fine arts. Now a full-time artist, Nancy experiments with vibrant colors and fluid forms to create her non-traditional, painterly landscapes. She enjoys working with oils, a medium that dries slowly and lends itself nicely to blending. Nancy strives to produce artwork that is, according to her, “quiet, yet bold.”
