Salle de Bain - S - Handmade Cast Concrete Tray in White by UMÉ Studio
By UMÉ Studio
Located in Oakland, CA
Cast in one pour, this piece is derived from classic bathroom tile to organize and curate your personal belongings. Perfect for your everyday bathroom or desk items. A play on a classic architectural sample: the bathroom tile. Everyday it exists in the corner of our eye, an invisible actor of our daily routine. Out of context it becomes an object full of the rituals it witnessed. On the "wrong" surface it attracts the eye - desires a touch. Used the "wrong" way it is this newly found friend - that was always there. The Salle de Bain series plays on an oft-overlooked architectural detail: the bathroom tile. By displacing the familiar shape from a quotidian surface to its own distinct form, the cast-in- concrete tray...

"Carlo" Riveted Leather Wastepaper Bin by Claude Bouchard for Oscar Maschera
By Oscar Maschera, Claude Bouchard
Located in Brooklyn, NY
"Carlo" is a riveted leather wastepaper bin, designed by Claude Bouchard and manufactured by Oscar Maschera. Genuine Italian leather vegetable tanned. Colors combination to be chosen from the available range: tan, sienna, orange, red, red-purple, dark brown, khaki, blue, black. DIMENSIONS: D. 10.2", W. 10.2", H. 13.3" The leather is doubled to obtain greater thickness and a color contrast between inner and outer surfaces; it's then folded and held together by metal rivets: the object has taken shape. Leather, robust and soft, which maturates over time like wood, wine, brandy and cheese, is a material suitable for a living relationship with people and things it has to do with: it absorbs their scent and gives its own. It protects, gathers and changes shape, as it retains something of the life it once had. Past experiences in working with leather, with objects of common use transformed into their own form by the material of which they were made (baskets, boxes, trays, writing-desk items, small pieces of furniture, in addition to bags and cases, of course) have led Oscar Maschera to today’s production which has exceeded even the limits of explicit reality to get the pure form of the objects, reaching beyond the risky limit of mere functionality. CLAUDE BOUCHARD, interior architect and designer by training, is well known for his pieces of design in ceramics, porcelain, glass, metal and wood for firms such as Hermès...

Firmamento Milano Trilite Table Lamp by Franco Raggi
By Firmamento Milano, Franco Raggi
Located in Milano, Lombardia
Please note that VAT is not included in the price. Trilite is a micro architecture for the room. Often today architecture is conceived as urban and pushy maxi objects. Trilite is just the opposite: a small architecture for an eclectic and discontinuous home landscape, a small portal of light that discreetly illuminates. The base is made of valuable marble, the portal is polished red lacquer while the light is spread by a thin aluminum tile. For minimal lovers it is available also in white. Franco Raggi graduated in 1969 in Architecture from the Politecnico in Milan, the city where he lives and works. In his role as author he has taken part in a large number of exhibitions and held conferences and seminars all over the world. In 1973, on behalf of the Berliner IDZ (International Design Zentrum) he curated the first critical Italian Radical...

A wonderful ottoman, stool or sculpture in the style of famous French sheep. The sculpture is covered in real long hair fur, real horn or antlers and a hide covered face.
