21st Century Hourglass Collectible design object Timeless Black edition

About the Item

Sand clocks were among the first instruments that man devised to visually perceive and measure time. Ctrlzak’s Timeless project utilizes the properties of traditional materials in reviewing this nearly forgotten object. Inside the glass vial though instead of sand are found refined iron fillings that trickle from one compartment to the other, revealing the passage of time not only through their movement but also through the creation of a small spatial crystalline structure. Now available in Silver Finishing and Black finishing. Each piece is unique hand made in Italy, the duration of the hourglass is different any time. The iron powder make a sculpture on the bottom as it is in contact with the magnet. This is an artisanal product 100% Made in Italy.
