Oszkár Glatz was a Hungarian painter who was born in 1872. After studying art history, he attended the private school of Simon Hollósy from 1892, and trained himself at the Académie Julian from 1893. Returning for a short stint in Munich in 1895, he was already working in Nagybánya in 1896, painting upon the Izvora. He was a core member of MIÉNK and also participated in laying the foundation of the Szinyei Merse Society. He taught at the Hungarian University of Fine Arts between 1914–38. Glatz died in 1958.
