He was a painter of landscapes and pastels. He studied under Charles Beauverie in Paris. In 1902 he became a member of the highly prestigious ‘Salon des Artistes Francais’ where he received an honourable mention in 1907. He also exhibited at the ‘Salon des Independants’.
