“As an artist I am inspired by natural beauty, in particular the area I live in Norfolk along with other locations around the world. These have included the volcanic region of northern Iceland, the dramatic Himalayan landscape of Ladakh, west Scotland in winter and the south west coast of Ireland. I find each location captivating and inspiring and my approach to painting is largely immediate and direct”.
