Contrary to what we see in the photo, the chrome covers all the metal part of the kettle, and not only the top as seen in the photo, it is an optical effect The melodic whistle kettle 9091 is the second product designed by Sapper for Alessi, published in 1983, a poly-sensory object, that is to say, using more sense than normally do kettles. Richard Sapper wanted her to speak to hearing as well.
