Robert G. Schmidt was born in 1923 in Paris. He studied at the Julian’s Academy of Fine Arts. Schmidt is a member of all parisian Art Galleries. He was appointed Officer in the Order of Arts and Letters and Chevalier in the National Order of Merit. For many years now, Robert G. Schmidt has been one of the most outstanding painters of his generation.
