Robert Julius Beyschlag was born on July 1, 1838, in Nördlingen. He was educated at the Akademie der Bildenden Künste München. Beyschlag was known for his beautiful portraits of young women and children. He mostly worked in Italy, Germany and France. Beyschlag died on December 5, 1903, in Munich.
