The French jeweler and designer, famous parurier Roger Jean Pierre has been designing for Schiaparelli jewelry since he was 20 years old. He has also worked for Balenciaga, Dior, Balmain and Madame Gres, among others. He created some of the most extraordinary jewelry for Balenciaga and forged a very close relationship with Christian Dior, creating many important pieces for the House. In 1930-1960, his name was known throughout France. From 1947 to 1958, he ran the large jewelery company Maison Francis Winter. Winter designs around 2,500 jewels a year for the biggest French fashion houses. In 1960, Roger Jean Pierre opened his own studio in Paris. He was inspired by the decorations of the 18th century.
