Shaver Howard Dining Room Tables

Fantastic vintage Modern Shaver Howard slatted steel tulip pedestal base table with a round glass top. Beautiful condition, keeping in mind that this is vintage and not new so will have signs of use and wear even if it has been refinished or restored. Specifically, there are small scratches on the top surface and a chigger bite and a tiny chip in the edge of the glass top. This is a GORGEOUS dining or game table composed of a stunning slatted steel tulip style pedestal base with a clearcoat and it’s topped with a marvelous 48” round 3/8” thick glass top. Upon our extensive research we were able to confirm that this set was created prior to 1980 when Shaver Howard became Johnston Casuals. So, sometime in the “Groovy 70’s!” Ahhhhh, the “Decade of Disco!” No wonder this table is so FAB! Obviously, it will be awesome in your dining area, but it could be a wonderful addition to a game room for the perfect spot to sit and play a game of cards or assemble a fun jigsaw puzzle.
