The anterior and posterior surfaces of the shaped body are embellished with embossed and chased scenes of a figure gathering fruit from overhead foliage, with a conical structure in the background. This scene is surmounted with a winged oriental dragon design to the upper portion, its tail entwining the surround ornamentation and scales emanating across the upper rounded portion. Either end of this Georgian tea caddy is ornamented with a swept tiered building, reflecting the same chinoiserie style as the aforementioned sides.
