An exceptional, fine and impressive antique Georgian English sterling silver locking tea caddy by Henry Chawner; an addition to our silver teaware collection. This exceptional antique Georgian sterling silver tea caddy has an oval form. The surface of the tea caddy is encompassed with bright cut engraved fabric swag designs and floral festoons, suspended from impressive spiralling foliate anchor-points accented with pensile bud designs. Each spiralling motif flanks a shield shaped cartouche displaying the contemporary engraved initials 'WM' and surmounted with a ribbon style bow. These exceptional antique George III English sterling silver goblets have a plain circular bell shaped form to a waisted pedestal onto a circular foot and square foot. A fine and impressive, large antique George III English sterling silver cream jug made by Henry Chawner, an addition to our Georgian silver teaware collection. This fine antique George III sterling silver cream jug has an oval shaped form. The surface of the incurved panelled body is plain and embellished with a bright cut engraved oval carotuche to either side, one side bears the contemporary engraved initials' and the other remains vacant. The upper and lower rims are encompassed with applied reed decorated borders. This fine Georgian silver cream jug is fitted with a plain scrolling handle ornamented with applied moulded decoration. An exceptional, fine and impressive, original antique Georgian sterling silver stirrup cup modelled in the form of a fox’s head; an addition to our diverse silver drinking vessels collection This fine antique George III sterling silver stirrup cup has been realistically modelled in the form of a fox's head. The surface of this original cup is embellished with impressive chased decoration reproducing the Fine features of the fox’s snarling facial features and fur. The underside of the fox’s jaw features a convex oval cartouche bearing the contemporary engraved motto ‘Venationi Dattr’. The anterior of the rim is encompassed with a reed decorated border. The interior surface of the rim bears the contemporary engraved presentation inscription ‘The gift of Rob.t Moreton Wood to Will Skelhorne, 16th Dec 1801’.
