Beautiful Mouth-blown murano glass sconces, Vesta model, created by Guismondi, founder of the Italian Artemide group, and owner of the famous "veart" murano chandelier and sconce factory.
This helmet-shaped sconce is made of frosted murano glass on the sides, and on either side of this metal blade. Brass-coloured metal details in the lower part. Fixed to the wall with a metal plate.
Unique work by Italian masters.
VeArt (founded in 1965 by Sergio Billiotti and Ludovico Diaz De Santillana) manufactured artistic Venetian glass and lighting until the early 1990s. The company's artistic director Mario Ticco (from Venini) developed important collaborations with world-renowned artists and designers such as Toni Zuccheri, Umberto Riva, Tobia Scarpa, Renato Toso, Noti Massari, Paolo Zanotta, etc...
In 1991 Artemide acquires VeArt with which mouth-blown glass collections are launched.
