A modernist pendant-brooch designed by Walter Schluep.
A great three-dimensional work of art of modernism, created in Canada, around the sixties. It was crafted in solid 18 karat yellow gold with highly textured surfaces. The reverse is suitable with a hinged pin bar for use as a pin and an adapter for use on a chain necklace.
The surface of the piece is finished, with rough and wavy surfaces, giving the idea of a rocky and natural formation. The general top view of this piece resembles high mountains with a blue lake.
Featuring in a bezel setting, one cabochon round cut (9.1 by 8.55 by 4.1 mm) of a natural color changing blue labradorite feldspar gemstone of 2.95 carats.
