An exceptional, fine and impressive antique Edwardian English sterling silver spirit tea kettle made in the Queen Anne style; an addition to our antique silver teaware collection. This exceptional antique Edwardian silver spirit kettle, in sterling standard, has a plain oval rounded form. The lower portion of the body is embellished with fine and impressive embossed fluted decoration, in the Queen Anne style. This antique tea kettle is fitted with a flush hinged hallmarked cover, which also features fluted decoration and retains the original and impressive carved painted wood and sterling silver oval fluted shaped finial; the flush hinge indicates the high quality of the piece. This fine example of antique teaware is fitted with an impressive incurved ribbed handle with impressive lobed sockets to either side of the central original carved painted wood handpiece; the handpiece is ornamented with a continuation of the ribbed design to the handle.
