French, 1882-1936

Zig (Louis Gaudin) was a French costume designer and illustrator. He began his career in the United States, drawing the costumes of Broadway musicals (Keep Kool, 1924). During the period 1926–32, Zig designed a large number of the posters for the reviews of Joséphine Baker and Mistinguett for the stage of Casino de Paris.
