The legacy of Serra as crafters of “archeological jewels” begins in 1910 with Mario Serra, who set his jewelry boutique like an artist’s studio that soon became a reference point of the high society of the time and was named the supplier of the Italian Royal family. Newspapers of the time referred to it as "the most beautiful shop in Rome, indeed in Italy, perhaps in the world”.
