About B. Jarold and Company, LLC
Becky Jarold founded her design firm, B. Jarold and Company, in 1990 and works from her office in Pittsburgh or wherever her projects take her.
Her portfolio of artistic interiors is a reflection of her years growing up in the rust belt cities of America. Born in Detroit, she lived there for many years before moving on to Cleveland and Chicago and putting down roots in Pittsburgh. It was her grandfather, an ornamental iron artist whose work graces the Henry Ford museum in Greenfield Village, Michigan, who taught her the value of artistically reusing materials and design elements. These formative years instilled within her an appreciation for classic design and the inherent beauty found in so many older homes and buildings in the region.
At the heart of Becky’s work is her belief that good design uplifts and inspires those who live within the space. Good design facilitates both healthy living and prosperous business. Becky works with clients to uncover the pearls within a client’s story, whether the history of a property or building or the styles and colors that resonate with them. With an eye on sustainability and the budget, Becky encourages clients to think creatively, beyond-the-box and to consider reclaimed materials or the work of local artists.
Her interiors are found in private homes, restaurants, retail shops and corporate offices throughout western Pennsylvania; Aspen, Colorado; and in Tucson, Arizona. Her design work includes the lobby of the Omni William Penn Hotel, the University Club of Pittsburgh, the Canadian Fur Company, Marc USA, Bidwell Training Center, Mobay Chemical, Dollar Savings Bank, One Oxford Centre and Kirkpatrick and Lockhart. Clients include BNY Mellon, PNC Bank, Scaife Family Foundation, Joy Mining Machinery, WPXI-TV, Nemacolin Woodlands Resort, 84 Lumber and Snow Capital Management.
