About Heather Hilliard Design
Heather Hilliard Design is a full service, boutique interior design studio based in San Francisco, California. Heather creates personalized interiors that combine classic detailing with the restraint of modern design. Her extensive training in art history and contemporary art distinguishes her design work and with every assignment she accepts, Heather delivers a refined result that reflects the very best of her client’s personal style. Each project the firm undertakes is completely unique and are designed to embody the very best of the clients’ personal styles. In addition, Heather is mindful of the context of her client’s home location, architecture and landscape. From San Francisco and Hawaii to New York and beyond, Heather’s work includes city, suburban, island, mountain and wine country locations, from large estates to intimate pieds–à–terre.
Heather has been featured in many national and design publications including The Wall Street Journal, House Beautiful, San Francisco Cottages & Gardens, Luxe Interiors + Design, California Homes, Traditional Home, and Gentry Home, among others.
Since the founding of her firm ten years ago, Heather has prevailed eight times in juried competitions to design rooms at the annual San Francisco Decorator Showcase. She has also been on the Designer’s Circle for both the San Francisco Antiques Show and SFMOMA’s Fog Design + Art Fair for many years. Heather is an Allied Member of ASID and an Associate Member of AIA. She is also a member of the Modern Art Council and Contemporaries, as well as a Patron Member, of the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art. At San Francisco’s De Young and Legion of Honor museums, Heather is a Sponsor Member. She is also Patron Member of The Institute of Classical Architecture & Art.
