About Christina Nielsen Design
Christina Nielsen is an emerging residential and commercial interior designer based in New York City and London. Her designs blend clean, minimalist lines, reminiscent of the Scandinavian style, with the flair of English, French and Moorish furniture. Christina Nielsen Design took flight following its much lauded design of a private box at England's famed Royal Ascot. Her talents have since caught the eye of Plain English, for which she is designing a residential kitchen in the brand's signature London showroom, to be unveiled June 2020. Nielsen has been selected to design a tablescape for the Lenox Hill Neighborhood Gala 2020. She has also been selected for the prestigious Hampton Designer Showhouse for August 2020.
Nielsen previously worked for Vogue magazine, and received a Master's Degree from Sotheby's Institute of Art in London. Nielsen credits her fashion and art background as design influences, as well as the "less is more" aesthetic perfected by Joseph Dirand fused along with the fearless layering of pattern and texture inspired by the great Robert Kime.
