About Ward and Gray
Ward + Gray is a New York city-based interior design firm founded by principals Christie Ward and Staver Gray.
Christie and Staver met studying interior design at Parsons School of Design in New York City and bonded over a mutual love for antique lighting and french rattan. They worked side by side ever since, first at Soho house where they developed residential and commercial interiors for Soho House + Co, including Dumbo House, Meatpacking, Malibu House and Miami Beach House.
With a home base in SoHo, Ward + Gray works on boutique hospitality and residential projects across the US, Europe and Australia. Since launching Ward + Gray three years ago, Christie and Staver have completed projects including Wildflower Farms, an Auberge Collection Resort in the Catskills of NY, Pizzeria Mozza, a Nancy Silverton restaurant in London, Tigermilk Paris and St. Jardim, a wine bar in New York's West Village. Currently they're working on hospitality projects in Montauk, Australia, New Orleans, North Carolina, Philadelphia and Brooklyn.
Ward + Gray specializes in completely bespoke spaces, designing everything from the tile, to the furniture and lighting. In 2023, Ward + Gray launched their first product line, a debut rug collection.
