Large Nuvola ceiling lamp designed by Tobia Scarpa for Flos, 1963. Internal structure in white painted steel, sprayed with special resin cocoon, first edition in excellent conditions. Adjustable height, the cable measures 120 cm but can be lengthened or shortened according to the desired height. Original piece from the 60s, despite the fragility of the material, this Nuvola pendant lamp is in excellent vintage condition, the lamp still mounts its original cable and the black sphere at the base. The original lampshade remains intact with an incredible patina acquired over the years.The lamp has been revised by a professional, fully functional. Of the lamps designed by Scarpa this is the rarest version, in excellent condition does not have any defects despite its over 60 years. Wonderful pair of vintage / first production of chrome "Foglio" sconces in fabulous conditions. These iconic lamps were designed by Tobia Scarpa and produced by Flos in Italy during the 1960s. The Foglio (meaning 'sheet' or 'leaf' in Italian) is composed by a thick curved sheet of chromed steel with a white enameled interior and two lamp holders. The effect when lit is incredibly stylish and clean. They come wired and tested, compatible with both US and EU/UK standards and use two E26/27 light bulbs. The way these lamps spread the light is poetic and incredibly elegant. The perfect lamps to complete a midcentury modern living room.
