Lemaire Enamel Opera Glasses

About the Item

Lemaire Enamel Opera Glasses made in Paris circa 1930's with hand enamel painted 18th Century figures with a cupid on handle. Extremely beautifully painted on a lavender base with gold highlights. Eye pieces in Mother of Pearl with the Lemaire, Paris stamps. Mother of pearl knob adjuster in center allows magnification to be changed and the handle folds back onto itself smaller for transport. Depth 1.75", Closed 5". Handle 5". When handle is extended it adds 6".
