A beautiful original French Art Deco clock, circa 1925. It features a beautifully captured figure of a lioness, although unsigned, it is in the cubist manner of Michel Decoux (1837-1924). The case is geometrically formed of stunning specimen green, white and brown onyx with two chrome plated spheres each side of the Lioness.
Lioness is made in bronze patinated metal. The dial is matted silvered brass, screen printed with stylised elongated numerals and complete with it's original Art Deco 'skyscraper' blued steel hands. The bezel is chrome plated with bevelled glass.
