French 19th Century Mantle Clock

About the Item

A very good quality French late 19th century gilded ormolu and champleve enamel mantel (fireplace) clock. Having urns and a cherub above the eight day clock that chimes on the hour and half hour. Supported by monopodia figures to either side of the tapering enamel panel and raised on a stepped enamel and ormolu plinth.
