About the Item

Protopunk is a collection of furniture and objects designed by Joost Van Bleiswijk. Each piece is handmade with thick cuts of steel roughly cut with a torch, welded together and then painted. The creative process unfolds in a quite instinctive and gestural way as an expressive and physical gesture. The shapes are bold and the lines are strong nevertheless the collection keeps a certain joyful vibe. Joost gives great value to the process of making and Portopunk is a clear example of his practice. The collection can be customized in sizes and colors for residential or contract with a short lead time. Please note that the items that are handcrafted they can look different that the picture shown.
