Produced from flat cut and quarter-sawn red oak, this heavy letter desk organizer measures 12.75" tall, 16.5" wide and 11" deep. Very solid and heavy construction; and of note is the use of hide glue further indicating production likely between 1920-1960. Note also from the side view that the file organizer trays are subtly tapered down to the base. It has marks and no restoration has been attempted. Coated in a thick varnish. Would be a perfect fit for a mission style or Stickley desk...
