Marcin Rusak, "Tephra Sculpture 005", 2022, Real Flowers, Zinc, In Stock
By Marcin Rusak
Located in WARSZAWA, 14
Drawing their name from the geological term indicating petrified fragments spat from volcanoes, the objects from the Tephra series are handcrafted using real, specially treated flowers mounted on sculptural forms made of steel wire and jute. Metallised using a thermo-coating technique that covers the dense textures in a paper-thin layer of molten metal, the structures preserve the eternal blossom in an almost Pompeiian effect of silhouettes covered in volcanic debris.
The form of the Tephra Sculpture 005 comes from the study of plants’ anatomy, revealing an unexpected complexity of botanic forms that symbolise nature’s creativity. The sewing, bending and welding interlaced with the sublime fragility of flowers are blended, and in fact muted, by the rigidity of the industrial metallisation process. Cocooned by streams of liquified metal and finished by hand to achieve a polished or matte texture, the sculptures, reminiscent of monochrome bas-reliefs, establish a new field of exploration for Marcin Rusak Studio...

AAA Grade Large Smoky Quartz Obelisk Generator with Light Citrinated Smoky Color
Located in Ametista Do Sul, BR
With remarkable clarity, brilliance and aesthetics, this Natural Smoky Quartz Generator was meticulously cut and polished to showcase a perfect blend of natural beauty and responsible mining. A Smoky Crystal that makes a valuable addition to your crystal collection or a piece to your space.
What makes this Smoky Crystal specimen truly special is the meticulous approach taken during the cutting and polishing process, which aimed to preserve the natural formation and raw beauty of the raw smoky crystal. With minimal intervention, the inherent shape and structure of the Crystal Obelisk were maintained, allowing its unique characteristics to shine through.
This highly translucent Smoky Quartz showcases a delicate balance between transparency and smoky color tones. Its clarity allows you to look deep into the crystal, where you'll discover captivating rainbows that form naturally within its crystal structure. These internal rainbows are a stunning phenomenon, displaying an array of vibrant colors that seem to come to life as light interacts with the crystal's facets.
Importantly, this AAA Smoky Quartz Obelisk is not only a natural wonder but also ethically sourced. Ethical practices ensure that the crystal has been obtained in a responsible manner, considering the well-being of both the environment and the workers involved.
Overall, this AAA Smoky Quartz Point...
