To crown it all, in the final stages of its evolution, blue lace agate formed, allowing only white layers to develop in its center. It is all-natural, with the perfect, delicate lines growing intact, this piece is a true natural artwork. We decided to display it in a custom-made stand, enabling you to enjoy both sides of this specimen. You might wonder, "How did the blue lace layers form?" Agates usually develop in volcanic basalt cavities, filled over time with silica-rich water that leaves behind layers as it evaporates. While this explains the colorful bands, the crystal layer between the agate layers remains a mystery. Fascinating, isn't it?
