Rustic dug out wooden server

About the Item

Rustic dug out wooden server circa 1900. Here we have an early 20th century eastern european livestock feeder.  These would have been made from hollowing out a tree trunk by hand. No evidence of this piece ever being used for it's primary purpose, but it's ideal today for table displays, retail or for even being converted into being used as a sink. Clear surface marks, evidence of dead inactive worm which has been treated.
