Art Deco Machine Age Chrome Coffee Service with Bakelite Handles by Chase

About the Item

Excellent example of Streamline Art Deco design, this coffee service was manufactured by Chase in the United States circa 1930. Composed of four pieces - a coffee maker with percolator function and cream pot, a sugar vessel, and a serving tray – this set is composed of polished chrome and finely machined black bakelite. Featuring beautiful fluted detailing on the lids of the sugar vessel and coffee maker that meet toward Bakelite pulls on their tops and horizontal banded striations patterned on both the cream pot and sugar vessel, this set will make an excellent addition to any collection or act as beautiful piece for display. They feature circular polished chrome bases secured by hexagonal caps with convex centers.
