Georg Jensen Vintage 1970s Danish Sterling Silver Server
By Georg Jensen
Located in Jesmond, Newcastle Upon Tyne
A fine and impressive vintage Danish sterling silver server; an addition to our Georg Jensen sterling silver flatware collection. This impressive vintage Danish sterling silver server has an ovoid shaped blade. The surface of this Georg Jensen silver server is plain and unembellished. The handle is comprised of impressive iconic Jensen style floral bud and ball ornamentation conjoining with the plain tapering stem. The hallmarks struck to the reverse of this silver server include Maker's mark: Georg Jensen (this mark was used between 1945-present) Silver quality/purity mark: Sterling (925/1000) Country mark: Denmark Condition This antique Georg Jensen silver server is a very good gauge of silver, excellent quality and in exceptional presentation condition. The Danish hallmarks struck to the reverse of the stem are all very clear. Reflections in photographs may detract from the true representation of this piece of vintage continental silverware...
