Spectacular large Hand -Carved Wooden Carousel Horse made by the Sculptor Karl Müller, Moblitz Germany. This Hand-painted Horse dates circa 1886-1902, late 19th century-early 20th century. More than 100 years old !!! So has a great worn patina of age and use. This Galopping Horse - Rising Horse is made of hollow wood. On the back of the sadlle there are 2 Carved Bird Heads. As a young man, Karl Müller worked by his uncle Friedrich Heyn , where he learned the craftsmanship. Later he started his own business. That's why Heyn Carousel horses and Müller Horses have many resemblances. This Carnival Horse used to be placed on a copper bar on the merry-go-round. The new owner can choose what to do with this one: To leave him- dans son jus, with great worn patina, to restorate him, to put him on his feet, to hang him on a bar, to hang him on chains...
