Modernist Handblown Murano Glass Three Tier Palma Chandelier with Brass Fittings
About the Item
This sophisticated modernist glass chandelier was realized in Murano, Italy- the island off the coast of Venice renowned for centuries for its superlative glass production. It features a body reminiscent of palm leaves and a brass interior that warmly refracts throughout the Murano glass. The translucent glass petals have grooves etched into the surface and are secured with polished brass spherical rivets. The fixture attaches to a domed canopy in lustrous brass via a chain in the same material. With its elegant form and refined color palate, this piece is as versatile as it is aesthetically pleasing, blending perfectly with any style of interior from classic Mid Century to contemporary. It has been newly rewired to American standards and is in excellent condition. The chandelier accommodates 6 Edison
based bulbs offering up to 600 watts of light. The height can be adjusted to suit.
