To visually signify the company’s 10th anniversary, in 2006 e15 exchanged the e15 signal orange with gold. It symbolised the censure after this first decade of e15 and at the same time the transition into the next few years of our work. As a special product for the anniversary e15 presented the light SEAM ONE as a limited edition piece, which in its gold finish bridges the gap to our collection. The object by British designer Mark Holmes has been awarded several times (for example, IF-Design Award, Red Dot Design Award, Wallpaper* Editors Award) and has been part of the e15 collection since 2003. This immaculate Gothic Revival Chandelier features fantastically detailed and patterned bronze d’ore. The French antique piece dates back to the 19th century and sports a spiraling fluted crown at top. Moving down the center stem we see three gorgeously detailed falcon heads protecting the room below. Acanthus leaves rest on the stylized torch arms. A detailed floriate design with grape vines fills the bronze d’ore above the winged gargoyles at bottom. The piece is beautifully ornate and filled with the timeless character of the gothic revival style. Each piece in our shop is professionally rewired and in working order.
