Created in Provincial France in the late 19th century, this culinary icon exudes history and craftsmanship, having a shaped backsplash with convenient tool slot for storing utensils, meat cleavers, and knives. Featuring a thick heavy-duty contoured end-grain work surface with attractive worn smooth rich distressed patina, authentic wear, knife marks, and uneven organic form acquired from generations of cutting, chopping, carving, typical industrial knife work and butchery.
