A large early 20th century Anatolian terracotta amphora from Western Turkey, hand-thrown and traditionally open-fired, now converted into a sculptural table lamp. This two-handled vessel was originally used for storing water, oil, or grains, with its wide shoulder and tapered base designed for both capacity and stability. The surface shows a naturally varied, open-fired finish, with tonal shifts across warm terracotta, deep brown, and darker smoked areas where the pot was exposed directly to flame in the kiln.
