Offered for sale is a truly classic styled Sofa with outward angled arms to simulate their being on a hinge, however, they are fixed. The long bench seat cushion is made with an envelope-type inner fill foam core with a down and feather wrap. The three loose back cushions are all down and feather-filled. The sofa is upholstered in an off-white linen fabric. The legs are sled-style covering underneath each arm completely. They are finished in a dark espresso color. The frame is made with solid hardwood construction.
Although this is a showroom floor model, it is in very good condition and presents well.

This is an outstanding set of authentic original beaded hide high-top / high-top moccasins with hard parfleche soles from the Sioux Native American Indians dating to circa 1880. The set shows stiff Indian tanned hide moccasins with hard parfleche rawhide soles and the tops being covered in period correct 1800’s glass trade seed beads that are sinew sewn in a traditional Buffalo track geometric pattern. The moccasins have a red ocher mineral pigment paint and are completely sinew rawhide sewn. Sectional sofa has been the main recurrent theme concerning typological researches since last century golden age of design. Ludovica and Roberto Palomba deal with it emphasizing the sense of suspension from the floor, thanks to a thin metal structure, and modelling a great peninsula, provided with a gracefully asymmetric shape, in the version with terminals.
LUDOVICA and ROBERTO PALOMBA, architects, work and live in Milan. They founded Palomba Serafini Associati in 1994. They received many international awards such as Compasso D'Oro, Elle Decoration International Design Award, Red Dot, Design Plus, Good Design Award, German Design Award.
