Based on an original design by Danish designer Viggo Boesen in 1938, Petra is a lounge chair with a high-set, winged-backrest and unparalleled comfort. The Petra lounge chair follows the great success of Little Petra, named after Boesen’s mother-in-law, Petra – said to be a small woman with a big personality, her presence is felt in the embracing body of the armchair’s design. Petra now carries the same bold character and aesthetic but in a larger form. As with most natural materials, differences in structure, density and thickness are expected, as two pieces of sheepskin never look identical and tend to show natural variations in both curls and tones. Designer Viggo Boesen A pioneer of his time, Viggo Boesen (1907 – 1985) made grand gestures in the world of Danish design and architecture, bringing a new perspective to the forefront of the collective imagination throughout the 1930s. His work reflected a new Scandinavian ‘Funkis’ style, a Nordic take on Art Deco, which was popular during the time and brought with it an array of surprising forms and silhouettes. For the Pouf, it's soft and nurturing, an ideal companion. With sheepskin and rounded legs in oiled walnut, it lends an organic warmth to any interior. Pair with the Little Petra for an elegant lounge seating arrangement. Material: sheep skin 17 mm sahara, oiled walnut Dimensions: Little Petra VB1 lounge chair...

Introducing Wulff, a lounge chair whose upholstered form pays tribute to the hand-crafted designs of the 1930's. First produced in a traditional Danish workshop in the first half of the 20th century by Cabinetmaker Jørgen Wolff, the Wulff lounge chair is a striking example of the ‘Danish Modern’ design movement. The intricacies of hand-made, small-scale production are readily apparent in its form: the boundary-pushing sculptural armrests, which join to an expansive, wing-shaped backrest, are underpinned by the finest craftsmanship. Reissued by &Tradition for modern audiences, the chair's timeless architectural shape adds a stylish statement to any interior. Wulff promises superior craftsmanship and outstanding comfort with luxuriantly soft upholstery that covers its seat and backrest. Intended as a lounge chair for the living room or bedroom, its architectural shape will add a stylish statement to any interior.
