Chandelier Crystal Attributed to the Granja Manufacture, Spain, Circa 1900
By Real Fábrica de Cristales de La Granja
Located in PARIS, FR
A magnificent cut crystal three-stage chandelier attributed to the Crystal Manufacture of the Granja, underlined by crown of prisms, pearls and mirza. The lower part holds ten light arms finishing by green crystal cups with gold foliate patterns. The chandelier is supported by a central baluster in cut crystal enriched with large green crystal cups highlighted by intern lights. A similar chandelier is exhibited at the Liria Palace in Madrid, the Duke of Alba’s residence. La Real Fábrica de Cristales de La Granja was established in 1727 in San Ildefonso under order of the Bourbon king Felipe V of Spain, in order to furbish the royal palace of the Granja in glaces and mirrors. French glass masters came at the royal manufacture in 1746, and then masters from Germany and Bohemia (1750). Like the Buen Retiro royal manufacture of porcelain, the Santa Barbara tapestry manufacture, the Granja royal manufacture of crystal took part in the diffusion of Spanish decorative arts in Europe during the 18th century. The manufacture was closed in 1808, consequently to the Spanish independence war, before being restored in 1815 under the reign of Fernando VII...

Silver Catalano Bench 90's Outdoor Seating Handmade in Spain
By BD Barcelona Design, Oscar Tusquets Blanca, Lluis Clotet
Located in Barcelona, Barcelona
Silver Catalano Bench 90's Outdoor Seating Handmade in Spain Materials: Steel Dimensions: D 76 cm x W 100 cm x H 90 cm The secret lies in its well-known virtues. Its ergonomic shape, wisely adapted from the bench Antoni Gaudí designed for Güell Park; and the deployé steel, which gives it a sense of transparency so that it blends discreetly into its setting, prevents rainwater from collecting and keeps it warm in winter and cool in summer. On the basis of the 1 m. module benches of any length can be assembled, single or back-to-back, using the type of leg desired. Tubular steel seating...

Fase Madrid table lamp model SAUCE by Tomás Díaz Magro, 1969
Located in Lisboa, PT
The SAUCE Table Lamp, designed by Tomás Díaz Magro for Fase Madrid in 1969, is a remarkable piece of Spanish mid-century modern lighting. Standing at an impressive 70 cm in height, this is one of Fase’s largest and heaviest models (10 kg), featuring a heavy counterweight that ensures stability. Its swiveling base and adjustable lampshade, which can be raised or lowered using the elegant walnut handle, offer both practicality and style. One of the lamp's standout features is the lengthwise opening in the lampshade, which not only provides cooling but also emits a striking shaft of light upwards, adding a touch of ambiance to any space. The pull-chain light...
